We endeavor to minister the gospel message through the art of mime. Since typically people think in word pictures, this ministry has the ability to speak to a generation that has trouble sitting through sermons and staying "tuned in". In essence we preach the word, without saying a word. Our primary method is to link gospel songs and scripture to communicate a silent story. The are 2 two teams within Painted Word overall; Painted Word (Adults/Teens – 14 and up) and Unrestricted Praise (Children 6 – 13 years of age)  |
Unrestricted Praise’s name comes from the concept in Mark 10:14 where Jesus tells the disciples not to hinder the children from coming to him. We desire that our children learn about praising God with freedom so their praise is authentic rather than just an imitation of what they see adults doing! Their scripture is: Psalms 119:7, “I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws.” This ministry effort is only effective with parent participation at every level.  |
